An Objective Method of Forecasting the Movement of Siberian Anticyclones in China

Abstract

　　Five Model seach defined by the distribution of isotherms and contours at 850mb chartsare used to determine the direction and speed of the movement of Siberian anticyclones in China. All prognoses are made from current synoptic material and past position of the anticyclones are not considered.
　　Satisfactory results of daily 48-hour anticyclone-position forecasts have been obtained.
