ABSTRACT

　　When the short wave on the 700 mb 1eve1 appeared in the southern China area, it always changed the weather of Taipei, especially in winter seasons.In this report the auther invesgated al1 the considered waves in the period from 1973 to 1978, during the months from Oct. to Feb. The results showed that there is a closed relationship between the waves and the weather in Taipei . And, finally, four patterns related to the waves and the weather of Taipei are presented.
