Abstract

　　The predominant weather events in Taiwan during May 1981 to April 1982 are discussed under the articles: Mei-Yu, Typhoons, fronts and/or cold out-breaks, heavy rainfall and special events. In the last article MCC, Quasi-Occlusion over Southern China, and troughs on south side of Tibitan Plateau are included. Brilly speaking, also the period we considered is more or less normal several weather events (such as torrential local rains occurred on May 28 and September 3 of 1981) occurred in Taiwan are still worth emphasize. We outlined the possible reasons of those events with many references. We hope this work may give help to all of our friends.
