冬季季風實驗期間寒潮、華西低壓及二者關係之分析探討

Abstract

　　Based on the data we got from W-MONEX during the period from Dec. 1978 to Feb. 1979, a detail synoptic analysis and comparison with the climatic data were fulfilled. The results we get is a good references for forecasting in winter seasons.
　　The Western China Lows; low pressure centers which occurred in West China in winter seasons, can not only cause warm temperature, worst visilbility in the morning and fair sky conditions in Taiwan area, but also can blocking the polar air outbreaks, therefore, we put our emphasis on this part.
　　After we made: (1) Time-Space vertical section; (2) Vertieal p-velocity and vorticity; (3) 500 MB trough tracing; (4) 4-day mean maps and anormaly; (5) Tracing of SFC highs. lows and frontal systems analysis, we found that warm advection in the considered area is the main reason of the development of the Western China Lows.
