Abstract

　　Verification of weather forecasts has been a controversial subject for many years and affected nearly the entire field of meteorology. A kind of the technique of weather forecasting verification should found out dificiency and reflected in the problem of a weather forecaster, and shown him which way should been taken to improve his weather forecasting technique.
　　In this report, Heidke Skill Score Method to evaluate the terminal weather forecasting was mentioned which has been used by the weather units of United States Air Force over ten years.
