In this research, it is found that the strength of the subtropical high in the Pacific is attributed largely to the change of itself and the influence of the high pressure in the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u3000\u3000Further, we notice that if the cols enter the South China Sea and pass over 120\u00b0E, the front will follow to push down southward with them. As to the Subtropical high itself, we use the time cross-section diagram for study. When under the control of strong ridge, the frontal activities over Taiwan will not be evident.
