A General Digcussion of Typhoona in the Northwest Pacific Area in 1982

Abstract

　　In 1982, there were twenty six typhoons formed in the Northwest Pacific ocean. Five of them had came closely to Taiwan. Though we put out typhoon warnings for those five typhoons, only three of them really passed Taiwan. They are Andy，Cecil，and Dot. This paper is a general discussion on typhoons which formed at NW Pacific ocean in 1982. We describe simply the source regions of typhoons, development track types as well as characteristics of each typhoon.
