民國六十九年早春惡劣天氣之分析

Abstract

　　Many reports about severe weather (i.e. tornados, thunderstorms and strong gusts) had been issued in the early spring of 1980. In the author’s opinion, all these phenomena can not only be explained by the theory of frontal passage. There must be some other physical factors exist, and with these physical factors we can clearly see how these severe weather phenomena could be triggered.
　　Through the careful analysis, it has been found that there are several factors should be responsible for the severe weather. But among these, the author finds that the temperature trough of 700mb and the confluence of strong wind at different levels had owed there contribution to this severe weather phenomena. In this article, some fine designed synoptic structure diagrams have been used to demonstrate the author’s ideal.
